I ran this with 4 friends a couple Halloweens ago as a one shot and it turned out to be a pretty satisfying little system that yielded a surprisingly fun emergent story that the players had fun RPing as the bodies stacked up.
I’d been meaning to write up the mechanics we used in a cohesive way and in the spirit of #finishit23 I wrote it out and condensed it down as much as I could.

Yep, wanted to do something fun for halloween and my search for “slasher” style ttrpgs resulted in a few options but they all seemed like too much for my guys to handle just for a one shot.
Out of that need this was born haha.
Our setting was an abandoned theme park some teens were breaking into on the eve of Y2K under the impression the power would come back on for some reason.
Needless to say many theme park rides and attractions turned into kill scenes and the final Survivor narrowly made it back to their Ford Bronco and shook the Killer Mutant off before he could finish her.
