2nd Edition AD&D had a bunch of expansions and supplements. Birthright, one of these, I don’t think gets talked about enough, especially in terms of how it tried to organize and integrate domain play. If you’ve got domains, you need rules for domain on domain combat! Let’s take a look at Birthright’s mass combat rules and see what they try to do and how they try to do it!
