This is a hexcrawl, a setting-agnostic sandbox that can be added to any adventure involving overland travel, or that can be run as a self-contained mini-campaign. It is set in a temperate, forested valley, bounded on two sides by steep mountains. The material here only covers the valley floor. A road — more of a glorified trail, really — runs through the valley, connecting Here to There. Traffic on the road is sparse, consisting mostly of merchant mule-trains (the road is too poor to allow wagons) and the occasional traveler. There are things to discover in the valley, chief among them the lair of a small group of brigands who have recently begun ambushing caravans and wayfarers along the road.
