# Hand drawn flat minis

I’ve been playing HeroQuest with the fam and discovered there are several unique bosses they will face, but the guidebook just says “use a regular orc” for example but it’s supposed to be a spellcaster. So I drew up all the special minibosses as a surprise. Having fun making these but oh boy are they probably just going to break.

Those look great! What kind of paper did you use? They look nice and stiff!

Do the alcohol markers act differently than regular ones?

Very different! The alcohol floods the pigment through the fibers of the paper much better than regular markers which can leave pretty bad streaks, at such a little scale I think it gives it a much better look. Easy to blend colors into each other as well!  
You can find alcohol markers in a lot of places like 5 Below now which is cool.
